Dallas Granite Countertops Tips

 Granite countertops are one of the most confusing things to shop for. Literally thousands of colors coupled with the huge variance in advertised prices means many are left confused.

 I'll work with you to select a color that makes your room as beautiful as it can be. I'll also personally accompany you to the slab showrooms/yards to select your color/s. I feel that's a whole lot better than trying to decide off tiny samples.

 That way - you not only see the colors in a large area, you actually get to select exactly which slab/s you want in your home.

 The key thing to remember with granite countertop projects is to forget the square foot price. Look at your bottom line. I say this because here are all the possible extras that go with a project like this:

⇒ The Extras

• Tear out – will vary depending on the material 
• Under mount – the cut out for your sink 
• The sink itself 
• The plumbing for the sink 

Now often, (to make up for the ridiculously low square foot price), you may be charged extra for edges, islands, cook top cutouts and disposal of taken up materials. 

I keep it simple by giving you a turnkey price for the entire job.

⇒ Your countertops MUST be sealed.

 You are buying a natural stone. As hard as granite is, it needs to be sealed as it’s micro pores will otherwise readily drink stains. I'll ensure they are sealed for you.

⇒  Picking Out Your Slab 

 I strongly recommend you select your own slabs and not letting me or anyone else do it for you. Since granite has so much variation in it, what you see on a small sample or HDTV will likely not match what you get.
